Dancers Etiquette & Parents / Visitor Etiquette

Always come prepared!

Bring all necessary items with you to class each week, such as finger cymbals, feathered gourds, ipus, veils, iis or pu'ili sticks.

Please be prompt. If you arrive late, quietly take your place in the back of the class.

Do not touch or lean on the mirrors.

Food and drink is not permitted in the studio. Cold bottled water is available at all times.

Students must wait until their class has been called to order before entering the dance floor.

All ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop dancers must have the appropriate attire and footwear in order to take dance.

Video taping of class is not permitted.

All choreography us the property of Donna Marie’s School of Dance and may not be used or duplicated without the express permission of Donna Marie’s School of Dance.

Do not wear street shoes on the dance floor.

Parent & Visitor Etiquette

Parents are required to walk children directly into class each week and pick them up from inside the studio.

Children must wait inside the studio to be picked up.

Children must not be permitted to run across the studio parking lot unattended.

Please keep all siblings with you in the waiting room.

Parents are responsible for keeping the waiting room a quiet and peaceful place for all to enjoy.

No smoking in the studio or by the studio entrance. Please do not leave butts by the studio entrance.

Only dancers are permitted on the dance floor.

No street shoes on the dance floor.

Please do not bring sick children to class.
